Foot (sole)

KD1

Yongquan — Bubbling Spring

KD1 is the first point on the Kidney meridian and is located on the sole of the foot. In TCM theory it is associated with grounding, settling the mind, and drawing energy downward — useful when someone feels anxious, scattered, or unable to settle.

Where to find it

On the sole of the foot, approximately one-third of the way down from the toes, in the depression formed when the toes are curled.

Curl your toes — KD1 is in the hollow that forms in the upper third of the sole.
