Yin Tang

Yin Tang is an extra point not on a specific meridian, located between the eyebrows. It is classically used to calm the mind and reduce tension in the forehead and sinuses.

Where to find it

Midway between the inner ends of the eyebrows — the "third eye" area.

Place one finger between your eyebrows at the bridge of the nose — the point is in the center of the flat area just above.

How to apply acupressure

    Apply pressure

    Apply gentle pressure with one fingertip. This point responds well to gentle circular massage as well as steady pressure.

    Hold or gently massage for 30–60 seconds. Breathe slowly.

    Keep your breathing slow and steady throughout. Inhale and exhale deeply.
