Zusanli — Leg Three Miles
ST36 is one of the most important points in TCM, classically known as a major point for supporting Qi, digestion, and overall vitality. Its nickname — Leg Three Miles — refers to the legend that stimulating it could give a tired traveler enough energy to walk three more miles.
Where to find it
Below the knee, on the outer edge of the shinbone, approximately four finger-widths below the kneecap.
Find the outer edge of your shin below the knee. Place four fingers below the kneecap — ST36 is at the level of your bottom finger, just outside the shin.
How to apply acupressure

Apply pressure
Apply firm pressure with thumb or knuckle. This is a meaty area and can tolerate more pressure than more delicate points.

Duration
Hold 60 seconds per side. Repeat 2–3 times.

Breathe slowly
Keep your breathing slow and steady throughout. Inhale and exhale deeply.
